Description

Leheria is an 800 year old traditional style of tie dye practiced in Rajasthan, India that results in brightly colored and mesmerizing wavy patterns. The fabric is rolled diagonally, and then tied at the required intervals and dyed. Wave patterns result from folds made before dyeing. This Leheria dupatta is tie-dyed by Badshah Miyan, an award winning master crafts family of traditional Rangrez, or textile dyeing craftsmen in Jaipur, Rajasthan. They take pleasure in experimenting with new fabrics and techniques, blending their aesthetic and imagination with the traditional knowledge of their craft.
